The Pirates of Silicon valley DVD was the first item I've ever bought on Amazon. This was circa 2001, I was 15 and living in Europe. Ordering something from the US over the internet and having it delivered 2 weeks later was very exciti

I remember a Discovery program showing what supposedly was an AN-225 airframe parked in a field somewhere. The story was that it was finished, but never certified for flight, and was eventually used for parts to keep the one 225 operational

Walking is part of my daily work routine. Usually around 2~3pm I go out for a ~45 minute walk. I use this time to think about work related problems, solving them in my head as I go. Sometimes a walk can be much longer, if I'm stuck at

Is that a quirk of the 'pro' version? I have read many complaints online of people calling the PS4 noisy. I have a PS4 slim, and it is very quiet, the optical drive is by far the loudest part of the machine.

Well, yes, something like that, but not in a cluster form, but just a single CM4 on a mini-itx form factor board, with PCIe slots, USB ports, ethernet, etc. You could build a fully blown Linux desktop peripheral wise, just don't expect

It is 1x, obviously. But I highly doubt that the PCIe bus is going to be the bottleneck here ;-) I guess it would be possible to design an ATX size motherboard with a RPi4 compute module slot (once CM4 becomes available). The PCIe bus woul

I guess that's why NEC and Blackberry never took off in Europe, as the data usage would financially ruin you. With prices of about 5 euro per megabyte you lived in constant fear of accidentally using data.

I'm happy to say that things are going better now. Since I'm not in a relationship and I live alone, loneliness kicked in hard. Dating is also very impractical right now, so all I've done is just working 7 days a week. Luckil

Insane. Just think of the risk that this 'master key' exposed to the bank's employees. Having access to something as insanely valuable as a bank 'master key' puts the employees at risk of blackmail, extortion, etc.
