All these companies should refuse to self-censor for China. China does want western media and products. The fact that companies capitulate makes that the standard practice, and means China feels safe demanding it (or doesn't even need

Yeah, while the Flash era was definitely great for animation, that was really more because animation was the only real option for video. Streaming video has largely replaced that, and cheap cameras mean animation is way costlier to do now.

The reason you get "attacked as an antivaxer" is because you are using weasel words to come to a conclusion that is not supported by any evidence, and presenting it as basic fact. The claims that all of these vague areas you point

If I was hiring a recruiter, I would be hoping they could provide me with something more than an ability to spam developers. It seems to me that most good developers would ignore such spam—I get so much of this noise that I pay it no attent

Of course, but there is a difference between having a hypothesis to test, and believing something and setting out to find evidence for it. Those are some extreme examples of that being an issue, but also things like not publishing negative

The scientific method is not generally served well by people seeking to find a particular answer, as opposed to the truth. Not saying that is the case here, but I agree with the parent-it inspires some scepticism from me.

Is there any reason to believe that phytoestrogens would act in a similar way to estrogen, to a significant level, in humans? People throw around this concern a lot, but I have never seen evidence of that. Edit: Elsewhere in this comment th
