I disagree. You can say anything but deny the holocaust. Denying the holocaust took place is not speech, it's a crime.

If you actually believe the holocaust was an invention and spread this belief in public you should be jailed IMO. Not sure what other "opinions" you are alluding to. Who has been jailed for that in Germany? Genuinely curious.

Why do these infamous master criminal hackers always reuse passwords/handles and leave traces? It's relatively simple to use random credentials everywhere and to completely disconnect your hacker persona from RL. Or is it that we

Why not? In what way have norms (in the USA I assume) changed that rejection in person should be a big risk?

Some people - mostly anti-woke Americans - think that there is reduced freedom of speech in Germany because you can go to jail for denying the holocaust or Nazi slogans. Not sure if OP meant that but I saw that opinion around.

Working less seems like reasonable advice all around. To be honest I rarely have more than 3-4 productive hours in a day, where I actually get hard stuff done. Sure on special days I can be productive 8+ hours; but those are rare.

Thanks for the long explanation, that makes sense. I too feel that there is little desire to rehabilitate people who have committed a crime. Once you are in that category you are marked for life, and visibly. It's still a stigma in cou
