Surely the git integration is in the shell, not the terminal?

I'd like to understand which packages, I've had no packages I need disappear. I'm skeptical that the packages are actually missing to favour snaps, and not simply renamed or replaced.

That's the cheaper outcome. What if you survive and are badly maimed and unable to work?

Except it's licensed per computer and not per seat. I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve with it. I have two personal devices, not to mention dual booting Linux some of the time.

I don't condone pirating software, but this is the kind of licensing that makes me understand it to a degree.

I asked them about that a year ago and they weren't interested in changing the model then.

They may not have planned it, but I'd give them enough credit that this kind of abuse is almost a certainty.

> I’m not including “for failover” in that list. In today’s architectures, DNS is not used for failover any more. I mean, my company does this for certain failure scenarios involving our CDNs. Can anyone tell me why we're idiots, or

You can't always do this with current traffic planning. In busier areas you have to consider throughput at _other_ junctions and not just the immediate one. Changing one light's timing could make zero difference to that junction,
