Wherever it may come from, I think many people are happy to have an angle to attack a certain category of Chinese for their perception and treatment of animals. The hunting and extinction of species due to these ridiculous primitive beliefs

I think there is some definite educational and inspirational value to Maker Fair and magazine. I guess that's more domain of non profits, but maybe some philanthropic education funds could lend a hand for the more educational aspects.
