What do you mean by support using a proxy server? Can you put a link to the Docker ticket, and I'll take a look.

Thank you, I have added it to https://github.com/dotcloud/docker/issues/614 Would you be interested in submitting a pull request to add it to the official docs?

This is cool stuff, I have also been trying to get LXC containers running on the RaspberryPi. I used their guide and it went pretty well. I want to create a downloadable image so that you can skip over all the begining steps, and get into t

I have been using Digital Ocean as a sandbox for playing with Docker, and it has been great. I can spin up a server in less then 1 minute, install the Docker dependencies, and be up in running in no time. I do what I need to do, and then I

Really cool stuff! How long did it take you to build it? Was there anything missing in the docker remote API that you wish it had?

Can you give us some examples on where it is poorly documented so that we can fix those issues? Also, if you can let us know what you were doing when the command didn't work the same way every time? Have you filed any issues for those yet?

I have been able to get Docker up and running on Amazon EC2, Rackspace Cloud [2], and Linode. You can't get it working on Digital Ocean just yet [3], Due to their inability to run custom kernels, and their lack of Ubuntu 13.04 support. But

I guess it depends on what you mean by production ready. dotCloud, Heroku and others already use LXC in production, and they have been for a while. You just need to know what the limitations are, and make sure you build your system around L

If you are using Ubuntu 12.04 or 13.04 the recommended installation method is to use the Docker PPA. More information available here: http://docs.docker.io/en/latest/installation/ubuntulinux.htm...

There are issues with unionfs in it's current form. Because of those issues, aufs is currently more stable. Docker isn't tied to aufs, if unionfs or any other union file system comes along and is better, we are more then happy to switch to
