I wouldn't consider this a full haproxy/nginx replacement just yet. It doesn't support host based routing, so you would need a different ALB for each host in order to get the same thing you would get with haproxy/nginx.

Check your spam folder, some of the email from the last private beta went in people's spam folder, so they never saw them. Either way it doesn't matter anymore since Docker for Mac and Windows is now public to use without the need

When you start the container you can specify which port you want using the -p command. This command would start it on port 8000, but you could change to any other port you want, assuming it is free. $ docker run -d -p :8000 kencochrane/

Yes, we will still support Ubuntu, and other non-redhat kernel versions. This is basically just expanding our current abilities to include areas where we didn't have great support before. The goal is to have Docker running on all linux

I believe so, AUFS and BtrFS are for storing the images to disk, which is different then shared memory, so changing those shouldn't affect it.
