I hate when articles like this are split across multiple pages. Sure they want to increase the number of their page views for ad revenue, but I'd love to know the bounce rate on these multi-page lists. I did not bother to go further.

You may want to consider something like OpenID instead. http://openid.net/ I'm very (very, very) reluctant to use a ID for twitter, facebook, linkedin, etc., on a third-party site. Your site has to have gained some level of trust for me to

I think it's wrong to think of introverted/extroverted as a black/white area. Just as there are those that are clearly one way or the other, there are others that I'm sure are borderline. For Meyers-Briggs I've tested as an INTJ (taken at a

Instead of 'tricks' they should have used 'causes' or 'results in', or some other phrase that does not imply a negative intention in the design. It's just bad design.

I'd think it's not really a cookie being available for use on another site at issue. It's that site visit data is collected in a central location (Google) and is potentially available for data mining.

And this was tried in businesses with the client/server model in the 90's as well. That failed, as much as I think what Google is aiming for here will fail except for a small niche of computer users (unless there is a light-years advancemen

I think this was really more a joke about Rupert Murdoch than his personal view, especially since Murdoch's 'parasites' comment has been discussed a lot recently. Edit: adding link to show a reference http://www.mediaite.com/online/google-

The way NYTimes lists it as just GigaOM when it's from any of the sites in the GigaOM Network is confusing. I went through the same thing awhile back when trying to find an original source post, and it was on NewTeeVee.com.

To be technical, I'd think you'd have to say 'seen on NYTimes.com', as I doubt the GigaOM syndication makes it to the print edition.
