I'll add my thanks here. I suppose thank you type posts aren't always the most productive, but I am adding it because it also serves as confirmation that my I invite was received and, of course, that I am grateful.

The London Tube bombing. I think that was just a couple of weeks ago. As you say, there is only so much one can focus on. I don't even try to really retain or keep up with it all. I can't and I don't care if I'm expected

There are still a few out there, but it is not nearly as popular as it once was. Even Zofo sold a story. I recall them being more popular, leading to rocumentaries and rock operas, things like that. They do still exist, just not as frequent

My VA card gets me into the PX. They say my hearing is diminished because of my time in the service and they accepted responsibility for my knee. So, I am disabled enough to use the PX, not enough for much else except some medical. The PX i

Sure, but then desert already carries certain connotations. Living on the wrong side of MLK Drive in Atlanta probably sucks, that's a given. If orange juice is priced like a luxury good, it might be a food desert.

What I like most is that I bet they will make use of some of his patents, for free. Tesla's patent library is free for use, by any company. He has pretty much written his name into automotive history.

I wonder how viable covering parking lots would be in areas where you get a lot of snow. At some point, you will have to find a way to remove it - sometimes even a bunch of ice. But, it has a bonus of keeping the precipitation that would la

I think you will see good electrics coming from Japan. The e-class racing teams have been doing great work, as have their f-class. They are certainly capable of holding their own. They also have some good hybrids that will make their way to

Yeah, that's a food inconvenience and certainly a problem. It seems not very desert-like, at all. It sucks, but it's not fight a hyena for your breakfast suckage. It's not pretend to like fermented fish desert sucks It's

IRC wasn't even the beginning. Chance are, your OS still retains a message user function buried in it. Good ones would even store your messages when you were offline. They would save them to what some termed their wall. If you had perm

I always get a chuckle about people saying area in cities are food deserts. A food desert is somewhere you can't get delivery, tacos from a taco truck, or a pizza from anywhere but a convenience store. Nunavut is a food desert. Pickle

Your comment made me pause. IM has a longer history than you might think. You could send instant messages to people on your network, long before there was anything commercial about it. IM functions have existed on systems for a very long ti

I haven't read the article and I balked when they exclaimed the bit about 18 GB of RAM. That'd be an unusual number but, more importantly, is well below what I'd expect for a minimal amount of RAM in a designated 'profes
