I guess I forgot to write about the email that Paul sent me regarding my rejection. He suggested that I try and get the software installed in 5-10 more businesses. That would be "the best for both the product and investors".

You are correct. I was going to put up a simple landing page, but I haven't even set up the DNS (its updating now). Free marketing lost.

don't worry ;) I just set up the blog a few days ago and felt like I needed to add a link to it, but I just haven't pushed anything to it yet.

Yes. I haven't pushed anything public yet, which is why Inventory.io doesn't show anything. I really took Paul's email to heart, because it was great advice. I'm looking for other places to get Inventory.io installed.

It is almost freaky when I go to type something I thought was obscure into the google search bar and it predicts what I am going to type after the first word. A less obscure example (but the only one I could think of) is when I type is "How

I'm sure its all relative, but if you are talking about customer service, my local USPS always has a line of 30 people waiting to pick up a package that the driver was too lazy to bring to the door (Sometimes they come to the door, sometime

I think you missed one of the more obvious ways to fix the problem. Allow them to set their own rates, and allow other companies access (Permits, Licenses, whatever) to put letters in your mailbox. The USPS has no incentive to figure out ho

Wow, think about waking up from a drunken night to realize not only that you made poor decisions the night before, but that you are now the Internet douchebag. This guy probably wishes he kept his hands to himself.

Of course I am trivially right, I posted a trivial reply to something I was only nitpicking about (and I told the op I agreed, just not with GDP). No one offered up inflation adjusted GDP, and my point, which was very simple, though long wi

This is what I hate about HN. People who don't understand economics are inherently the people that are down-vote happy. Thats why I don't care one bit about karma. You have chosen to compare what I was talking about, GDP (Nominal in this ca

I agree with all of that, except GDP. In an age of Fiat currency, GDP is nothing more than a proverbial phallus measuring contest. Paper is paper, is paper. Show me a real currency backed by something (Sorry, "faith" in the government doesn

Not trying to sound like I am "Mr. Lawyer", but I did take a class on evidence this semester. But, more to the point: If (s)he were to try and settle the dispute, it cannot be used against the defendant in court to prove negligence or wrong

Isn't it interesting that in order to be the most greedy - as in, make the most money - Apple's approach is to out-design their products so that customers will actually bring about emotion and customers will love them, and buy more of the

Thanks for the engaging discussion _delirium, its one of the best (well-mannered) I have had on HN in some time. As far as full reserve banking goes, I think that it is all too easy to forget what bank products were actually intended for an

1) I hate paypal. 2) I would respectfully argue that your point about banks being safe due to regulation is quite false. On the contrary I would say that it is (over-)regulation that causes banks to lose sight of their reason for existence
