It definitely isn't a web site visit. It is not only a cache -- it has extra junk added to the page (back button, left/right swipes), and isn't even on the same domain. Copied links and referrers don't point back to your

It isn't misinformed to say that Google is effectively stealing traffic from publishers. Visitors literally do not visit your site when they land on AMP pages from Google Search. If the visitors copy the URL and paste it somewhere, it

Are you arriving from Google Search? How do you turn off the cache and prevent Google from adding back buttons and left/right swipes that take visitors off your page?

AMP is not your website. It's a restricted shell of your website's content that is hosted on google.com. People aren't visiting your website when they visit those AMP pages.

It has been like that as long as I can remember. I couldn't understand why people were falling for the "Chrome is faster" line when it was wasting everyone's time by sending people to search results instead of URLs like

Google also built Chrome to send people to Google Search and click on ads on the way to their destinations. That's why auto-completion in Chrome is terrible. You will often end up on Google Search rather than the destination site. The

I spent about 10 years on and off on the road and didn't have any phone at all for most of it. There are non-smartphone ways to do those things. Edit: if you calculate the total time wasted by smartphones in general with the total time

I don't think eating cooked insects is any more dangerous than eating things like cooked pork. It's only cultural reasons why insects aren't widely eaten here in the US.

I use the standard one.[1] Open a terminal and type `node` to start it or run a script with Node's debugger[2] and drop into a REPL from there. I sometimes use Slimux[3] to send code snippets from Vim to a REPL in another tmux[4] pane.
