Firefox has some better plugins and features, like container tabs. You can block ads with the built-in tracking protection, uBlock Origin (not uBlock), and uMatrix. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/containers

It doesn't seem like a good idea to make HTML more complicated just to save 13 characters per page. It's just one more unclear thing that beginners would have to understand. "These elements go in the <head>" is eas

Personal development isn't easy, but there is no pill that can replace a healthy lifestyle. I took the plunge into a strict, healthy diet 3 years ago and it eventually became easy.

8 seconds is not a reasonable delay, and AMP pages work perfectly fine if the JavaScript is blocked. Which is going to annoy users more -- a slight delay in a font's loading or an 8-second delay in the entire page's loading? I sus

I don't think it's "what users want" as much as it's "what makes the most money out of the things that we can convince users to want". And "what can we manipulate our engineers into believing about wh

The open WWW is one of the greatest things that humans have achieved, and Google is in the process of destroying it. It looks like the goal is to replace the Web with their own product where ads and tracking can't be blocked, and fewer

Flutter looks like the junk food of programming. It looks like you get a choice between McDonald's (Google / Material Design) or Burger King (Apple). People are giving up long-term technology freedom for short-term, beginner'

It looks like a way to sort-of link to a site, but to make the default action to return back to the linking site instead of going deeper into the other site. You aren't sending people to the target page, but are just loading a preview.
