Personally, I would love a solid business model where the point is to have flatter management / pay structures instead of making everybody rich. Enough that everyone gets paid well and has some autonomy, but decisions don't get lo

In college I smoked weed over Skype with someone in Indonesia and their buddies. They didn't really go out of their way to buy it either. It's probably very underreported (because otherwise they would be executing a ton of people)

Some believe it's intentional. I believe it's unintentional, but that the result is eventually very similar, if not the same.

Well there goes my theory. On the other side, I see Bernie losing heavily in conservative states, but nearly equal or slightly better in others. I'm assuming he's so polarizing that republican voters are voting against him. This m

I only partially agree. I believe trumps success owes a lot to how differentiated he is from other candidates; to the point where he is effectively a 'third party' within the republican party. The other candidates split one pool o

Soon nearly every pentagon employee will be social-engineered and compromised. People will begin to believe that every single system they access is a MITM or phishing attempt.

Not to knock you, but if they wanted to demo it for a studio session length then 15 minutes is a pretty limiting amount of time. VSTs have varying quality, take a while to learn the workflow, tons of features and are very expensive. It'

Curiosity does increase the likelihood of survival by expanding the information an organism has or simply have it wander into a more effective or new way of living.

Okay in the sense that we won't immediately die because we can make up for it (although it won't be nearly as good). Losing honeybees is still easily one of the most pressing issues.

Maybe, but losing pollinators probably means the loss of thousands of plant species. Wealthy countries who have industrial agriculture will be fine (although arguably the world will be poorer for the loss), but poor countries will be 100% f

Its common knowledge IMO, but you can certainly Google it. Agriculture is a near-perfect free market, so organizations and governments often destroy crops to raise prices.

Maybe, maybe not. Here's the obligatory 'what worked for me'. I looked at a bundle of research and treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy appeared to have better long-term outcomes and after 10 years or so of depression

This man worked hard, took risks and got rewards from it; I don't think this is something that anyone wants to punish. He certainly isn't a bad guy. Neither is any other rich person; they are taking maximum advantage of a system t
