For example, does it not seem intuitive to you that it should be possible to take a brush tool and paint on the canvas? In GIMP, you can usually do that, but sometimes you can't, for reasons that are initially baffling. Once you figu

Not a fan of "this" comments but, very much this. The way layer boundaries work in Gimp is tremendously confusing and annoying. Perhaps the existing code makes it difficult, and I get the impression the devs have been stuck dealin

Apologies if this is too much of a spoiler, but you might be a bit surprised by how the film's immediate sequel plays out. Edit: And considering when it was made and who made it, a happy ending was by no means guaranteed. Compare and c

I think the public "budget" number is best considered as part of the film's publicity. It might reflect reality, it might not. Some films exaggerate their production budgets to make them seem like good value to buyers, some u

This is the one people always cite when talking about big budget film breakdowns. I presume because it's the only one that's out there. Edit: Apparently there's a leaked budget for The Interview out there. https://

The project came to an end (hence me having to wrap up their work), so I didn't do much. I'm on a new project now, but I have the same question. If someone keeps insisting their work is coming along great and they'll be check

I'd have thought most people doing serious audio work (recording live performances etc) would have a core to spare for the audio process. I suppose there's probably some reason this doesn't work well, because I've never

In order for this 8Hz to be making a difference, surely it'd have to be related to some biological human frequency. I think all our clock-type things are too approximate. Heart rates are very variable, brainwave ranges are approximate,
