The S10e is still supported by LineageOS and is 5.6", which is fairly close to the iphone mini (but still bigger).

It is a bit weird to frame one of two competing protocols as the successor of the other, when the only data point for this assertion is that one is older.

That hurts a lot, I got in way past the point where it was acquired by amazon, but the forums were always a very nice place to interact (with its lots of weird and single-focused people, as every forum, that gives it charm). The reviews for

Quite the opposite. I got covid in march 2020 and since then I have mostly WFH, and been careful about masking with efficient gear (N95 and up) indoors, and I have not gotten sick once, whereas previously I would be out one or two times a y

There is no scientific basis for this assumption (the idea that you rake in immunity "debt" by not getting sick, leading to worse symptoms /when/ you get sick).

Dynamic range is better on the phone, but otherwise the DSLR has sharper edges, less noise, nicer colors, and is less mushy (but that is possibly due to the "AI processing", so ditto about the "real" image). That said, n

Sorry, I meant to say "RX100", it is now corrected. Yes, even with the improvements in sensor technology, glass, and post-processing I don't see a phone reaching RX1 quality anytime soon.

Even with less outdated cameras (e.g. the last high-end APS-C from Nikon, the D7500), HDR bracketing is much worse than most mid-range phones from the last 5 years. And assembling them after manual bracketing in post-processing is also not

There are several XMPP clients trying to replicate -more or less freely- the same experiences, such as poezio [1] or profanity [2]. YMMV of course, and nothing will be a carbon copy of irssi, except if you use a plugin (but in my experience

It can be done, but it must be set by the extension author rather than the users (e.g. bypass paywalls clean requests permissions only for the websites it handles).

Yes, in fact the first deployment of these trains will be over the france-italy frontier (despite what this article says, I read the opposite in french news, and premiering a TGV on the Paris network makes no sense at all).

Yes, I know there is no good engineering solution unless you accept to have thicker expansion cards on both sides (e.g. with rubber pads on the bottom) that would be used as slightly elevated support for the laptop.

It does look a bit cheap, and the protruding part is not aesthetically pleasing, but at least it has good specs. I wish they could make it work while keeping it the same form factors as the other parts.

Or the most probable thing is that someone internally was annoyed by the bug and got permission to release. A single update to a 10 years old camera on an apparently abandoned product line is not something that gets a big amount of PR cover

I am not really a restaurant person, but when eating in LA or SF, while the prices were cheaper than Swiss prices, the difference was not huge after factoring in the "mandatory" tipping common in the US.

Prices in Switzerland are somewhat similar to or a bit higher (and certainly not 10 times) than the US, except for meat.

I have had several clip+ses over the year, and the one thing that died every time was the onboard flash (which prevents the player from booting at all). I resurrected my last one where it was only corrupted and not dead, but I did not have

My HiBy R3 has solid battery life (north of fiften hours of continuous playtime) and nice physical buttons, but I agree the custom UI is very sub-par, and I get somewhat more mileage of it as a high-quality bluetooth DAC than as a DAP.
