Hopefully the death of the always in, or always out, is what is new. I worked remotely, full time, for several years long before the pandemic. Early enough that anytime I told someone I would have to explain all the minutiae that Yes, I am

I can't speak for France, Italy, and Spain, but the UK certainly are supporting it. A lot of the munitions dropped by Saudi Arabia on Yemen are of British origin. We also have some odd policies regarding SA - the recent transfer of own

Since the 21H1 update you might start noticing connection drops since a new wlan autoconfig feature has been added: if windows can't ping home reliably, it will restart your nic. Yep.

Notably this was a bug on the input for _setting_ your password, so if you think you've set Password123, you might have actually set 321drowassP, so even after fixing the bug it would still bite many users.

I'm pretty sure that GP just did. Their post was a multi-pronged dig at their time serving - the first being that their training was (mostly?) ppt based, and secondly that sailors are overworked.

Unless there is a guarantee there is 1,000 new people per day then it certainly does apply. I think the usual pattern for pacing is to cover multiple bases from repeat visits to trying to cast a wider net to catch people at the right time(s

Invariably this is true, but I think had a payment model been adopted when Firefox itself was gaining traction, they wouldn't need to stray from that winning product model - privacy focused, user control, advertisement free, web standa

I used Opera for many years. It had/has many more problems than just its payment model. Notably was the notion that it came with a kitchen sink when most just wanted a web browser.

Many people would pay for firefox. I don't know if it's enough people to offset what advertisers are willing to pay, nor if adding that would dissuade too many users but it'd be nice to have the option to pay so we can suppor

Much like most things engineers bitch about, the tool isn't to blame here (as you say yourself) - it's the wrong tool for the wrong job. There's nothing about DDD that says you can't make a simple CRUD API, if that'

My understanding of the US legal system (I'm British) is that stockpiling cash isn't a crime, irrespective of the amount. Sure, sleeping on a mattress made of $100 bills might raise suspicion.. but that's still not a crime. I

Want a list of absolutes that started as just examples? I could write a long, long list of examples that were, in essence if not literally, typos that were missed by code review but bombed when in prod, too.
