I can't believe it's been ten years since I first read the first part of this comic. I've since stopped reading XKCD regularly, but still dip in when I'm bored. I've also got some of his books. Even though I don

I'm reminded I'm depressed every time I take my anti-depressants. I know that I can't survive without them, having tried to come off them a few times, and going to a very dark place each time. The hardest step when living w

I've run a homelab for years. My current setup is: Two HP Proliant tower servers with twin Xeons and 32Gb RAM with about 4Tb of storage. They run Windows Hyper-V Server, and are always running 10+ VMs, both Linux and Windows. I run AD,

I'm saying exactly that. Password Apps should have an option for logins to be peers, not Primary and Secondaries. In well established relationships, it's not uncommon for logins to be shared between partners, or even to have full

I think it's fair to say that the 80/20 rule applies here. 80% of us are on fair wages for our skill set, and are mostly in semi-comfortable jobs, and are mostly OK with that. The other 20%... well good on you, but not everyone is

Y'know what, kudos to the author for adding screenshots to the readme.md - so many repos don't have screenshots which make it hard to work out why X is better than Y.

I've not really delved into the password app space, as I was always put off by the concept of one person being the 'admin' and everyone else being 'users' with access. Does this app rectify this? Reason I ask is...

Large solar storms. When they happen, they cause the Auroras to appear at lower latitudes than typical. They happen so rarely in a persons lifetime, that people are very unlikely to see one more than once, if at all.

Yes, it's using RDS RemoteApps. You can semi-activate it on any modern version of windows with a registry key hack, which is included in the repo. The clever bit here is the winapp code that builds the RDP shortcuts to directly launch

My main issue with the BBC news site is it's awful Search. There's no option to filter, or sort the results, making non-super-specific searching almost impossible. I know I could do site:bbc.co.uk/news in Google, but uh, it
