This might make me sound inconsiderate, but in his position I would take nearly any job I could just to make some money. He can't afford to be picky about what he gets if he's living on the streets.

This doesn't directly answer your question, but I'd assume the larger question is "Will adding more or bigger monitors make me more productive?" The answer is yes. I can guarantee it. I wouldn't recommend spending a bunch of money on a sing

I might not know enough about this to say anything, but that would make sense for the Facebook iPad app because I would assume people rarely use their iPads while working ( http://techcrunch.com/2011/07/25/facebook-ipad-app-pictures/ )

I think this is_fb_employee variable is to check if they should be running the internal testing version of Facebook. Facebook has a subdomain which, in their offices everyone is redirected to. It's something like 'preview.facebook.com'. It

Yeah, Ruby's website is awful. Even Ruby on Rails' website is pretty bad. They don't make it look nearly as awesome as it actually is.

If this was the same price as Arduino, this would more than likely change Arduino's market dominance. Microsoft's development tools along with C# makes this much more exciting than most of what Arduino has to offer.

Well just as with private servers for World of Warcraft, it's more than likely going to be several big private servers. edit: This would also enable for LAN parties to play without anything more than a few cross-over Ethernet cables.

I wonder how long until an open source Diablo 3 private server is created, and this form of DRM is rendered near-useless.

This bothers me actually. When I start to type "facebook", it goes to "about:flags". It should have an additional check if the user doesn't end up picking what was autocompleted for them, then it puts back what the user originally typed. Th
