That's some serious mental gymnastics you're doing there! Al lot of what you call "religious tendencies" are just cognitive and organizational tools. Religions use and codify (some of) them in their own ways, and other a

For me, relearning the scroll direction on the touchpad was trivial, however on the wheel it just never worked at all.

You can reverse on both or neither, but not for just one. That's why there's 3rd party software like this one. Scroll jumping should be a hardware issue but I've swapped mice and same issue; both also work fine on windows. It

I have to try this. I already have a reverser (how on earth is this not the default, and not even an OS option to begin with?!?) but scrolling with the wheel on a usb mouse jumps randomly. Crossing fingers this may help there.

If they were hard to play, I can assure you they were MUCH harder to create. I look back and find it hard to believe how much blood and tears the artists and level designers had to sweat. All the kudos go to them, but I admit I felt very ha

In Commandos 2 we stored the huge map images in YCbCr 420 in memory, and converted to RGB during rendering via lookup tables rather than shaders (this was back in 1999, all CPU!). We compressed the range of each component below 8 bits, runn

The architecture may be possible in the sense that feature-wise you have the pieces (or most of them). But resources like memory, bandwidth and gpu speed, would fall way below the thresholds and tradeoffs needed to make this useful and not

You don't need to be an expert in native to write a RN app. However, you need to be very capable in native to have a responsive, performant, smooth RN app, and to keep it that way for years. Large teams can afford to have a subset of
