No, you're missing the point. Also one or more of the emails are not marketing emails. The point is that they say they delete your data, but actually don't.

"crash the app" sounds like the app's problem (ie. not handling exceptions properly) as opposed to the design of the API. It doesn't seem that unreasonable to throw an exception if unexpected conditions are hit? Also, mo

You must be on the wrong side of an A/B test or very unlucky. Because I gave your exact prompt to o3, Gemini, and Claude and they all produced reasonable answers like above on the first shot, with no hints, multiple times.

I’m so tired of hearing this be repeated, like the whole “LLMs are _just_ parrots” thing. It’s patently obvious to me that LLMs can reason and solve novel problems not in their training data. You can test this out in so many ways, and there

"... so there is likely to be equivalent information processing complexity to be found in them" This sounds like a really wild take. Just because something has been evolving for millions of years doesn't necessarily mean it&#

Yep! That's a key thing to keep in mind here. As chips get bigger (especially at higher frequencies), propagation delay becomes an important blocker

My recommendation would be to use them as a tool to build applications. There's much more potential there, and it will be easier to get started as an engineer. If you want to switch fields and work on LLM internals/fundamentals in

It’s so sad that he just got a formulaic templated response. No one at Kellogg’s read, appreciated, or understood his humour.

My point still stands … 10 seconds is an eternity, and a 3B model isn’t that performant. I’d rather not offer a demo at all than offer it with these parameters.

That sounds like a bad idea to me. CPU inference for LLMs takes forever (you'll get like 1tk/s on CPU) and limits you significantly in terms of model size/quality. You'll lock up all of your cores to provide service for

There’s tons of numbers of the form 2^N-1 which are not prime. To discover the primes, we have to iterate through the numbers and test their primality. With numbers that are so big, it’s very compute intensive
