I still don't understand their business model though. On the UK website, I've never seen prices over £5. Multiply that by often not completely filled up buses, say 50 people, and you've got 250 pounds for a 100-mile trip.

His Geordie accent is quite weird as well. Talking high doesn't make you a Geordie.

There's a few more factors besides the ones in the article. -Most of the languages high on the list are similar to English -The countries don't dub movies. This has such a big impact. I learned most of my English from movies.

I worked at IKEA for quite a while, and it taught me so much about selling. There's this 1 big book devoted to store layout, what product should be placed where etc. For example, a big long wall with products spread out over the whole lengt

That's not really what I'm looking for. If I design a t-shirt, and I find 10 people who would buy it, then that's no guarantee it's going to be sold on Threadless.

Those cables aren't great indeed, but the newest magsafe design is a great improvement. I wouldn't be surprised if they copy that to their other cables. (not the fact that it's vertical of course, that wouldn't be very practical.)

I can't believe people in the comments are actually writing stuff like "If this is not Aprils Fools..." C'mon, of course it is.

Your argument for PHP isn't really great. Both RoR and Python have a huge community, with more than enough people who are willing to help. If you want to be future-proof, I would skip PHP. It's getting used less and less, and also, RoR and

When I saw the font, I got the feeling it hadn't changed much. Then I compared it to the old one, and I realized it's completely different, but it just gave the same feeling. In other words: very good job.

It would be hard. Like you said they're usually free, which gives people the expectation they'll be free. Then they come across yours, and they'll be surprised to see a price. Unless you're really offering something different I don't see it
