We worry about the big, less likely risks than the common, more likely. In a major UK city you might become a victim of a terrorist attack - limited in scope but played out far more in the media - vs getting hit as a pedestrian by a car or

Pretty much. When searching around for advice on how to market yourself on LinkedIn, that sort of title, though full of shit, is what is recommended. I wish I could have an alternate profile or A/B test. I think my current one is detri

Same happened to me a while back when trying out Pro. I went to cancel it and they charged it a day prior to the day I was supposed to cancel on.

That's pretty much how people reacted w/ the SpaceX rocket here in LA. Lots of videos of "What is that?" Jokes about NK, etc. People are more skeptical than we give them credit for. It's probably why in school we we

Take the weekend off from the news, or longer. Find a good, non-political book and dive in. I've found it pretty easy to get into a negative spiral when reading about all the shit going on. Our awareness of the myriad problems and the

Yeah, when I fly back to NC it feels like I'm landing in Endor vs California. I also sleep much better despite the insect noise than here in the city. Will take cicadas and crickets over helicopters, fire engines, etc. any day.
