The point of my post is that I literally can't delete Facebook right now because I'm locked out of my account. I'm not one of those people who thinks I can't live without it, my account has already been deactivated for

Yeah, now you mention it, it may have reactivated after I gave the correct username and password, but before the 2FA step. I still think it's insane that you can reactivate an account without actually gaining access to it.

Do “dockless” bike hire systems actually work anywhere? There seem to have been so many stories like this. Docked systems seem to work really well (e.g. London), presumably because you can’t take a bike without leaving your credit card deta

Depressing in the sense of "it's depressing that it's true" or in the sense of "it's depressing that some people think that way?" Personally I think it's a mixture of both. And also that it doesn'

I agree with the distinction between mens rights activism and the red pill. These and other male subcultures (MGTOW etc) always seem to get lumped together by people who want to discredit them. A documentary about men's rights being ca

There is evidence from OKCupid etc (and, y'know, the real world) that the two assertions you quoted are true, broadly speaking. What has this got to do with "putting on his MRA hat"? Does this invalidate the assertions someho

I'm just beginning to realise that a bit part of mental "toughness" and resilience is actually self-compassion. Striving directly for toughness can lead to you feeling bad or angry at yourself for having certain feelings, whe

I've noticed this dismissive attitude as well, and I'm a generally healthy adult who goes to the GP very rarely. People go to the doctor because they don't know what's going on with their body and they are worried. The
