I wonder if it is possible to design regulations with the intent that they may change and the data may require reformatting. At least a best standards practice of how these regulations should be written should be possible.

I wonder how much of this is outliers from special cases. Getting involved in crime, getting entangled with police violence, child abuse, getting ill from environmental conditions, all of these things can sometimes have a devastating effect

As a practical approach on Windows, for well-known software, I go to Wikipedia, look up the project there and then get the link, obviously that's not guaranteed to be correct, but for well-known projects bad links usually get corrected
