>I’ve driven scores of people, mostly middle-aged men, home at around 2:30 a.m. in and around Portland, Oregon That surprised me. I would have thought most Uber/Lyft middle of the night drunk customers would be young adults.

I think in this case the title should be changed to something like "acoup.blog - on crypto and states" . As it is a very interesting and relevant article for hacker news but it's title is unconnected to the content and there&

Actually they originally hit it big with Magic the Gathering. They bought D&D and the rest much later. I'm pretty sure Magic the Gathering is still the largest moneymaker for them even now.

ICQ is very much alive, and popular in Russia for example. Hotmail transitioned to Microsoft outlook.com, and you can still use your hotmail domain email, even if you can't register new ones. As far as I know aol mail is still availabl

That's the problem. You really should not have your car manufacturer suggesting it's okay to put some random guy's USB stick in your car. If it was just some guy making a hack, that'll be awesome ,but since it's off

No it's not. Enable by default. Provide a way to disable for those who need it, done. It's just not apple's way to think users might want to do things differently.

That's a stretch. Most companies don't want to spy on their employees' free time. They want to 1- make sure they are compliant with the law and their confidential stuff is secure and 2 - make sure that you are actually workin

I think in your analogy netflix is more the shop that those truckers are delivering goods to. So if you want to be more accurate, the proposed payments won't be like a tax on truckers (in this analogy the truckers are the users, or may

I read the majority of the linkedin post. While it starts off benign enough with renouncing antisemetism and wierdly anti-zionism it soon goes into a tirade. After the first few parts it's mostly about the Israel-Palastinian conflict (
