Gold is nothing more than a bet against global currencies. Gold producers, on the other hand, one of their biggest expenses is fuel. Fuel is cheap and Gold is fairly high. Combining those two seems like a good investment for a time.

Only if you don't consider the context. The local government lost nothing. If Amazon didn't get the tax breaks, they wouldn't be there and the local government would be poorer for it.

IMO, any article that doesn't explain how to use redux with asynchronous side effects just confuses people on how to use redux. These mock examples aren't realistic enough to be compelling.

Effectiveness. Being efficient is only helpful if you are effective. If the room still smells like shit after all that shoveling, does it matter how fast you shoveled?

Let's say you have a room full of shit and your objective is to make the room smell nice. You decide the best way to do that is to shovel the shit out of the room. Efficiency is how fast you empty the room. Effectiveness is how nice th

This seems like a surprisingly bad idea. I would think the vendors' engineers would be able to identify the parts that qualify to be 3d printed, given how well the expected material characteristics match what the printer could produce.

This is a good visual representation of why Texans hope all the Californians moving there don't bring their political beliefs with them.

Right. These harmful memes are rotting the minds of young voters. We need to have Facebook eliminate them. Later when people send them via email, we'll need Google, Microsoft, and Apple make sure our email is vetted by their censors. T

I wonder if this has anything to do with drug re-importation laws. I wish someone would do something about it. Like an executive order or something.

I was hoping for a more interesting analysis of the question. It's an interesting question. But the author comes at the answer with the mind frame that money is evil. And then, his reasoning becomes more of an argument against capital

When 'friends' post on Facebook, they are putting their message on my feed. That's fine, that's the implicit agreement. Also part of that agreement, when I comment on their post. That's where most problems arise fo
