Every body is doing payments. So I don't see how this could boost Twitter's profits. Probably a money sink because payments is hard and extremely regulated. Twitter should focus on creating a market place for creators to sell digi

It's still amazingly difficult/unpredictable to deploy a simple node app with HTTPS enabled in 2022. The best and easiest service was still Zeit Now v1 back in 2017. It has been made harder 6 years later.

It's not that bad. What made is worse is that every browser is a little bit different and it needed to support mobile devices over time.

Yea, sounds like BS to me. Imagine Elon reading code printed on hundreds of thousands of real paper from thousands of developers. Makes no sense.

This is certainly true. The stagnation is what is causing low sales volume. Every home owner in America has a 2 - 3% mortgage rate while today's rate is 7%. And they are sitting on equity gained during 0% interest era. There is no reas

Their record for this goes back to 2015. As far as I know, home sales never collapsed by this much in the great recession. I compiled home sales data here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gVEXsjZjJaO3qtx4MI

A few of things. 1. ARM is most certainly retaliating at Qualcomm for lobbying governments to cancel the Nvidia deal. 2. Qualcomm's Nuvia is a direct threat to ARM's business. If Nuvia is much better than stock ARM cores, it will

It will be weaker because the M1 14/16 MBPs were eagerly anticipated. A chip refresh isn't going to have the same effect. I think we'll see a big boost in Mac sales when M3 drops. It'll be on 3nm and should be a much big

I wonder how this affects Rings of Power budget. It cost $462m to produce season 1 and another $600m for the license and marketing. Season 2 might have a much lower budget. As both an LotR fan and a Prime member, I would have enjoyed a lowe

I think Apple will come out with the best hardware. Why? 1. Best mobile SoC designs by far. Not even close. 2. Hardware company at heart. Their culture is built for hardware. 3. Way more supply chain and mass manufacturing experience which

I personally think that the AR/VR will have a big market in the future. The question really is, how far away? 5 years? 10 years? 15 years? And will Meta be one of the winners when it's all said and one? Meta is hellbent on creatin
