Since when can you withdraw cash and then spend it online? You can't. That is what Bitcoin solved.

My bank is a place I store money when not using it.. so that it's not in my house or at risk of being stolen. The fact I use the bank as a utility to also spend that money is unfortunate. Thank God (Satoshi) for crypto so that I can sp

Awesome - but I fear maintaining the code generated by it in the future.. can the AI maintain it as well? I am looking forward to AI testing the programs I write though. That would be awesome.

One thing I have noticed when WFH is that random calls are more disruptive than someone calling to your desk. When someone calls to your desk you're already in that environment. When someone calls you when WFH they're entering you

I agree with #1. If I won't really by impacted then I'm not going to bother arguing that much.

This is not healthy. Instead the friends should realise that their introverted friends won't always be in contact but that does not change the relationship.

To me that is asking like why don't I go outside and kick a tree. If I don't kick every tree do I have ADHD? My point being is that there is absolutely no reason to be a video game completionist.

OP you just sound lazy and to be honest I 100% notice this behavior when my colleagues do it. Do I moan and complain to my manager about them? No. Do I think badly of them? Yes. You say you're feeling guilty but you also say "I do

This describes me pretty well. What is the test for ADHD and is it just a doctor's opinion if you have it or not? Also is there any tangible benefits? I don't understand how just knowing provides enough benefit to bother going to

Like the flower that you smell which then squirts water in your face. I'm not convinced it's genius.

The only problem with this is that it frees your calendar so that other people can book things in. If something is booked for an hour but it can be wrapped up in 30 mins.. that gives 30 mins breathing room.

It doesn't sound like you're doing too much wrong. Keep at it. If you really want you could ask your manager for feedback on why your PR aren't being merged and ask for assistance to get the next one merged.

The link on centrist views wasn't that bad although the other link leads to a site without HTTPS. Bad stuff indeed.

Can you argue why this on a different level? It's the same joke but a more violent version. I'm not arguing that it's not funny but that it's not that unique and isn't genius by any definition.

Are you giving them a bit too much credit? It's essentially a pie in the face gag or flower that squirts water gag. Those aren't things you would describe at genius.

Only advice I can give is to seek our the work you want to do. That may mean moving jobs. Don't leave it too long or you'll have a hard time selling yourself in interviews

Who will actually build and maintain these low code solutions? Will it be over qualified SWEs who will lose their skills over time if they work on this stuff? Or will it be citizen developers who were actually hired for some other skill set

This stuff is a tactical solution that fills a gap in poor business solutions. Give it 5, 10 years and these non-IT solutions will be a nightmare for everyone involved.
