Tldr: Be honest and self-aware to suffer less in relationships. This is good advice. I would add that romantic relationships are one place where you can benefit from displaying some self-interest and diminishing your charitable instincts. F

We’re saying the same thing really. You want to blame every self-interested elite for manipulating the narrative, which I think is a pointless, thankless exercise in outrage farming, despite it. Whereas I think the onus rests on the media o

I actually don't care a nit about what Sandberg and her boyfriend are up to, it is completely immaterial. This story looks like pure muckracking for clicks, pandering to the perverse desire of the public to see powerful women fail. Nor

This story is being spun the wrong way. The real issue isn’t that she tried to quash the story (I mean, who wants their dirty laundry aired in public?), it’s that the Daily Mail lacked the fortitude and integrity to ignore her.

It’s not about repeat heart attacks. The study was in heart failure patients. The main issue is preventing events like exacerbation of heart failure and sudden death. The study looked for a large effect size. That’s totally fine. I think it

I suspect the USA and NATO know a lot more about what is going on than they would ever announce publicly. Although it’s hard to know for sure, it seems like Russia has revealed significant weakness in its military and intelligence services

Acoustic neuromas (almost 100% curable) and glioblastoma (aggressive, very poor outcomes) are quite different diseases. It is unlikely there is a unifying exposure. One technique to unravel this is to perform whole genome sequencing on the

This isn’t quite right, elephants do have bigger cells as well, so 1kg of elephant has fewer cells than 1kg of mice. There is also the fact that metabolism shows sub linear scaling with body mass. Geoffrey West has various papers about this
