I have some anti-china bias (personal background), but many times these Xinjiang articles only cite Zenz et al. I would really appreciate better investigative journalism on this front.

Why not just use a low-pass linear-phase FIR filter instead of FFT/iFFT? Same result but achieved in time-domain, somewhat more performant.

In my experience of running my own Nextcloud instance for over 4 years, I've never had an upgrade break my instance. Caveat: I'm on the stable channel and I only update when the client prompts me to update, which is a few point re

I'm going to educate you more right now - jet fuel is not explosive in the sense that you think it is. It's much less volatile than gasoline and is regularly dumped overboard in emergency situations with no fire risk. Modern jets

I don't believe there is sufficient evidence for mass casualties, but the OP is arguing a different tack: they're saying that we have evidence for forced sterilization and targeted oppression of the Uyghur culture, which by their

It will be a while before they get better images downlinked. The radio link is unbelievably slow by modern internet standards[0]. Note that the faster 2 Mbps link is only available when one of the orbiters is overhead (4-6 times/martia

GeForce Now can be used with Steam quite seamlessly. In fact, GeForce Now's value is to play the games you already own on various platforms on their hardware. They're not trying to be another games store.

Low Earth Orbit (LEO) which the ISS is in is very different from deep space. You can get away with much less radiation hardening in LEO. For example, I know a company consumer-grade Xilinx MPSoCs with 4xA53 cores at 1.5GHz.

There are post-translational modifications to proteins. This means that for many (most?) proteins, the amino acid chain sequence is different from what you would predict from the DNA. These modifications are dependent on the state of the ce
