the mechanism for using both the projects is the same -- include a JS file. If the effort to use both is the same, why would I not use the one that has more features?

It is essentially free unless you want the ability to customize the colours. This is even more generous than SublimeText. Not even nagging popups.

Yet it is the US folks that wear shoes inside their homes and wipe their butt with paper (only). If we are comparing clean-clean countries, Japan is probably #1. Let's not bring US into that list.

you will probably like Nim - https://nim-lang.org/ if you like Static Typing in a pythonish language, and writing long running (perhaps CPU intensive) tasks.

Why would India use Mandarin? English is the most common script in India, why would we use anything else. Unless you are Hindian trying to impose your minority language on the rest of us.

You can write DLL/dylib in D to work with Python: http://pyd.readthedocs.io/en/latest/functions.html You can opt-out of D's GC. Turn on `-vgc` flag during compilation and replace GC'd code with non-

I wish someone would do this in nim and compare the results. My wishful thinking is that nim would come in at the same number of lines as Python and very close to Rust's performance.

Eh.. I wrote a 1000 line linux "system" application in D. Didn't use a single class. All enums and structs pretty much like you would approach it like good "C" programmer while still using all of D's goodness.

I know nothing about French typography.. having said that.. pandoc allows you to use different LaTeX templates than the ones it ships with. So, you can take the default templates, add the overrides necessary for French typography and voilà!

I'm a big fan of Pandoc. However, if you have a lot of tables in your document, ASCIIDOCTOR is a better choice to produce PDFs. ASCIIDOCTOR has clear and superior table formatting syntax and more importantly it can work with CSV files.

I wouldn't be very sure about the claim that "D can never compete with Rust in performance and real-time or soft-real-time systems" . If anything, due to much better metaprogramming (as you mention), you can have D programs
