There’s a huge difference between losing control and giving equity. Namely, 50% (and that’s assuming equal voting eight per share). Why do you not want to give equity at all then?

The datasheet says it features a "Cortex M4 with 16 KB of instruction cache and 16 KB of data cache". As far as I know, M4 don't have L1 cache. Maybe they're using an M7? Or there's just simply no cache? https:

Well they’re “free” if you buy them alongside hosting. Still even if cheap, that’s quite a commitment: finding a domain, paying it, writing a custom (albeit simple) website, uploading it, etc...

Wait a minute, did somebody get so pissed at flatpak that they bought a domain name just to specifically host that single blog post?

For non-lookup csv-to-csv transformation, yes, I guess your tool can easily beat any SQL DB since it can work without any need for an external storage. That also applies to sequential-scan queries too. You make a good point :-) Regarding th

Seems great at first, but how is that better than piping the whole CSV file into SQLite and then doing the processing there? I think CSV is great for data exchange but not so great for data processing. By using SQLite (or any other DB actua

Every other month an amazing project from Fabrice Bellard comes back under the spotlight on HN. I guess you could train a ML model on previous posts and make a automatic karma-generating machine :-)

Very interesting, thanks for sharing this. Out of curiosity I dug a little bit and found a much more comprehensive writeup on this amazing piece of history: https://www.cairn.info/revue-histoire-economie-et-societe-20...

For some reason nobody talks about the extreme nuisance of those bikes. Customers would just drop them literally anywhere : on the sidewalk blocking pedestrians, right in the middle of the street blocking cars, in front of building doors p
