Maybe simple envelopes would be more accurate. Any waveform played with a rectangular envelope will sound "organy." Add modulation and a more nuanced envelope to avoid this.

It's wild that you managed push the project as far as you did! My main use case for browsers on classic is to download apps on Macintosh Garden and Macintosh Repository, so hopefully they never enforce TLS or require JS. It's a sh

Pre 'breakpoint()' you could always use import pdb; pdb.set_trace() That said, sometimes you don't want to interrupt execution and see your results in real time.

Free? Hardly. Nobody is free to do anything medical. You need to comply with a whole suite of regulations put there for patient safety. I think that's part of the allure of adtech; nobody's telling you you need to get your CLIA ce

Agree strongly with multiple options. Especially because if Web Form becomes the only option, it'll still be the only option in 25 years when everything else is via brain interface.

What scares me is the obsession with supporting old desktop browsers and ignoring the majority of people who are using phones and might not have access to a desktop.

Laptops and desktops are being replaced by phones. The appeal of a FOSS phone is that it makes the world safe for general purpose computing by taking back some of the territory lost to phones.

Before flash came to dominate browser games, there where Applets. The tooling wasn't there in the same way it was for flash, so it wasn't the same explosion of creativity. But there was some fun stuff out there, arcade clones, etc

Audacity is a great tool. It's not a DAW and doesn't try to be one; I find myself using it most when I need to do a quick edit on a sound or make a recording and I'll be done before my DAW would even have started up.
