Abuse is not about physical damage and/or risk to life. If it were, it doesn't take a bodybuilder to kill or hurt someone with an axe or a knife. But that's completely besides the point. The point is that in marital abuse - getting hurt (ph

Honestly, I don't mind. I like people saying whatever they want to say. If they say stupid shit - then that reflects on them and only on them. Ok, so the guy doing the presentation and uttering a cleanly well thought out joke is whatever he

Making fun of/uttering/referencing prejudices targeting women == Sexist. Using prejudices targeting men == Witty and Feminist. I am a man. I am not a rapist looking for victim. I am not a bumbling buffoon who can't change a light bulb witho

I really don't know why or how. But to me it seems like an inverted 1984 scenario, where instead of "kids" turning in "parents", in current western society parents are trying to beat down on the kids as much as possible.

Regarding your complaint of rocking keyboards. I went and checked my ol' T60 and by god, do T60's keys rock like a drunk sailor. But it's universally regarded as one of the best laptop keyboards available.

I didn't mean 100% commitment on programming or whatever. I meant 100% commitment to a project. So if I'm working for the man - I'm 100% committed to working for the man. If I'm doing a startup then I'm doing that 100%. Hustling vs hacking

Some of us are unable to do anything "on the side". When I do something I commit 100% - so if I feel like working after hours - I would just do my regular work.

How about training a replacement? On the other hand - if you are lucky enough to run into people who are better at executing than you are - then funding them seems like the smartest thing to do, should they want to work with you that is.
