It's the third option. A modern computer running modern software that just didn't bother to look modern. Turns out there are some significant performance gains to be had if you don't care too much about your window decorati

The dutch police used to be, up until fairly recently, quite hamfisted. My dad (along with the protest group he was in) even got labeled a terrorist in his youth for protesting this sort of thing. Things have changed for the better a lot

A lot of people bringing drama and/or low effort posts end up on mastodon.social. No clue how true it is but there have been claims that mastodon.social doesn't properly moderate their instance. As far as I can tell mastodon.soc

It's because some people really like mastodon and there's a lot of, at best, odd arguments going around why it'll never work. Never mind that for a large amount of people it's already working .

If you don't have any idea how dangerous something is, you're probably going to want to estimate it as pretty damn dangerous . Of course there's enough data here to make an estimate, though IMO that estimate would still en

Method of death isn't the relevant bit here. Likelihood is. A waiver for a one-in-however-many chance of having a heart attack in a sauna is of different orders of magnitude than a waiver for a one-in-maybe-a-dozen chance of having the
