I mean honestly though. A while back I was deciding between getting youtube premium or spotify for music, and I was leaning towards youtube except for two things: 1) youtube was refusing to take my money. I don't have a credit card and youtube does not support any other payment methods. 2) youtube premium at the time would STILL show you ads. It just promised they would be "less frequent".
