I don’t have ADHD and it’s difficult for me too. I remember being in an office watching the marketing guys toss a football back and forth in my peripheral vision while trying to concentrate. It made me hate those guys and our management.

This is the answer. I had a beautiful life before having a child, but what I didn’t realize is although it was finely painted, it was all black and white. My daughter introduced a whole new dimension - color - to the painting of my life.

If you exhale you’ll probably find you sink quite well. And ‘jumping’, even just using your feet/ankles will be enough to move you up 5-8 feet. Give it a try (assuming you can swim!)

And we’re back to where banks are today. Stopping fraud is a very tough problem to solve remotely.

Is that any stronger than using a password if an attacker could force a connection to fall back to the password?

I remember seeing spyglass and using NCSA mosaic at work and school, and Compuserve from home. There was definitely stuff out there, I downloaded images, a song or two and some programs. I saw a very early version of (I think?) Windows 95

I don’t think you’re taking scale into account. Millions of internet users then vs billions now makes a difference. Generous hobbyists and some universities payed for those services back then. The “massive” in MUD was a few thousand simu

I don’t think you’re being intellectually honest. I didn’t have access to the Internet in my home in 1992, and the rest of the world didn’t either. I did pay for and have access to Compuserve forums. There was very little content back th

Tell us how you really feel. :) The problem is, as was mentioned above by someone, all content has to be paid for. If there were no ads we wouldn’t have had TV and radio for the past few decades. 90% of the internet would disappear, and

You might be in a rural area. I haven’t seen a live horse for a good couple of years. Of course they exist and people enjoy riding them. But the post above was indicating they’re not everywhere like they used to be (like cars today).

HP had the best printers 20-30 years ago so I stuck with them. Recently I got so fed up with them and their ink BS that I switched to an Epson ECO Tank printer, and I’m happy to say that I’ve been delighted. HP is shooting themselves in t

I worked at a VC funded startup many years ago and we were essentially forced to do something like this for one of the other VC’s failing companies. We spent our limited funds on them, which we didn’t need, and it ended up sinking us. So

In my opinion, Musk used to have the golden touch. But his Twitter takeover and its aftermath shows he has lost it. And it looks like he’s becoming more and more like Howard Hughes in his later life in that his oddness and eccentricities
