Recently there was a thread here where many argued against some company owner that has set the objective that the code created by his employees should be as simple as possible. Often the arguments boiled down to: It looks only clever if the

It's probably better to emulate NTCS as PAL games very often ran slower when compared to the NTSC versions of the same game.

Most younger persons might not care about this, but some are buying dedicated video hardware like the XRGB Framemeister to emulate the picture that you had back then on old CRT TV sets. (scanlines etc) I don't like the sharp and blocky

As a collector I will buy this anyway, but I also must admit that the games included are actually very good ones. For example some great games like Final Fantasy 1 were never released in Europe. Also the controller can be useful for those t

It does not work like this. People will not simply criticise new laws that they feel are unjust and then wait for changes. They will simply ignore them. Lawmakers have to carefully consider this and they generally do it.

Consider this: We are all go through a roughly similar socialisation process in a society, meaning many will have a similar understanding that murder is bad, what privat property is and what I can and can't do with it and what freedom

My point was that this is one way to detect the IP where the client connects to for calls as call signalling, call media transfer and chat messaging all connect to different IP's. Once you have that you can block media transfer, or if

You can definitely distinguish with near 100% reliability if someone is messaging or calling, even if there is encryption involved. All you need to do is profile for relatively constant data transfer rates over the course of many minutes th
