From personal experience alone these drugs feel fairly easy to start and stop taking. So taking them every third or fourth month (or similar) would seem like a straight-forward option, unless I'm missing something.

I'm sure there will be negative side effects but the main outcome of these drugs is that you eat less. Many of us have trained ourselves to eat at a frequency and volume way beyond what is really required to keep our body functioning.
