I am also of the opinion of needing only one monitor because I can only focus on one thing at once. Whatever is not the work I am doing when I focus, goes into another desktop space. I am also a power user of an OSX window manager called Sp

Facebook security issues were an influencing factor in the past elections. How much worse can it get? I don’t think that rooting for Facebook against a Chinese built competitor is rooting for national security.

I am happy for these news. Facebook has a monopoly on social media, and it’s good for competitors to grow strong enough to challenge it.

Can you provide some specifics? I am not refuting your claim. GCP is my favorite cloud platform to develop on, but obviously the needs of the US government are different from the needs of an individual software consultant.

It depends on what the startup offers and what market they are in. Microsoft's acquisition of LinkedIn is a successful one for example.

Anecdotal evidence, but if you don't offer GoogleADX inventory, your site gets de-ranked in searches. I am very interested in the anti-trust probe for that reason.

Yes, I am interested in your idea. I agree it is something should happen. However, who would host these sites? I don’t see the solution yet. Maybe you have put more thought into it. Edit: you sound a bit rattled. I didn’t mean to instigate.
