So much negativity here. IMO the themes alone could be worth it. However the whole thing seems a bit laggy in the simulator he shows. 3GS is still on sale and I find that even with native iOS 5 it feels slow - I wouldn't want to run such a

Thanks for asking this. I thought it to be a bit smug of OP not to include an explanation. Like everyone here knows the C specs in and out.

1) As OP has pointed out, security is not just about effective security, it's also about the perceived one. Cleartext passwords are so unusual it makes me question as a user, how things are handled in the backend. 2) I don't see the problem

What you show in the video looks pretty good. A few things that caught my eye: The signup form is unconventional. that in itself is ok. but the cleartext password text field is a really bad practice. Also the whole thing just looks very han

IMO there is a fundamental difference between pinch-to-zoom and slide-to-unlock. The pinch gesture -) has quite a bit of prior art, most notably minority report -) is similarly self-evident on a multi touch surface as drag-and-drop using a

Thanks for your input. Yes, this is always one of the hardest things in UI design: Do I optimize for the "power user" (yes that dreaded word again) or the common user? Can I do both without any compromises? Besides possible monetary benefit

Of course a tree would be best. I just wonder whether can be presented in a way that is still intuitive for common users. I'm thinking one could emulate a linear history on top of the tree and just present the tree when desired by the user.

And that's why we can't just delete the save button. We need to rethink the way users "commit" as you say. Apple's versioning is an interesting take, but its UI is too hidden IMO and they didn't get the "Save-as" feature right, which still

Don't say this is the user's fault though. People with weak eyesight NEED to get stuff bigger and because of tons legacy software even Windows 7 can't really help you with scaling. Scaling the resolution is still the only really viable opti
