Well, in our case we work with multiples development teams, so we only "catching" errors in our code so we don't use a wrapper. If someone try it this way, I would be curious to hear about the results.

You are right this isn't necessary a replacement for other solutions. But even if you use other logging solutions, it might be a good idea to log them in GA also so that you can measure the impact of those errors on metrics like conversion

Thanks you took up on my comment and expanded this to a blog post! Where I work, we use try/catch block but they do have their drawbacks (one of them is less optimization in Chrome).

This isn't an excuse, but I know that they use Titanium to make the application portable between all the platforms they support. I think some of bad UX experience on OSX is because of that.
