Anyone who has worked or lived with down syndrome people know that they are indeed special: empathetic to a fault and intensely social. https://adscresources.advocatehealth.com/social-sensitivity/... .

The results from the Boids algorithm can create madly convincing simulations of birds, dust motes and insects. Anyone wanting to play with the Boids in Blender can download these examples from my Blender teaching resource: https:/

Here in Singapore there was a plague of such cases when China opened up. The main victims were ethnic Chinese Singaporeans being screwed over by long lost family members in China.

Great recommendation. Thanks. As a painter I take advice from hackers. The clarity and orderlyness of their thinking completely outclasses that of painters and suchlike.

One tip I have not seen mentioned is to change medium. As an artist and arty teacher I recommend this to my students all the time. Channing medium seems to impact the way we think and the style of our problem solving. As an artist I swop be

Nope.not just you. Check out the blog/book Daily Rituals. This lists the creative habits of artists. Running, walking and exercise features high on that list. I believe that there has even been some empirical research done on this phen

Not sure if this is relevant... For me, as a digital artist, the difference between null and zero often comes up. In the digital colour domain black = zero. However, for a designer/artist black is as active as white or any of the hues.

'Dirt people'... I love the way that physicists sneer at other sciences. To quote Rutherford: 'All Science Is Either Physics or Stamp Collecting'.

Not sure about Shotcut, but from my experience the layout of Flowblade seems pretty standard. Anyone who has used premier or DaVinci should be up and running in no time. The NLE interface is pretty much a done deal at this point. Major chan

A subset of Quitting is starting again, shown many times by many people to be a valuable life strategy. For an example, check out what Steve Jobs said about leaving Apple to start Next.

I'm not sure that nature and logic are related in the way you imply. A different question: Is not the atomic indivisible of computing no more that a simple switch? A binary? Is there an equivalent for this in the human mind/brain?

What I find fascinating about evolution is that it is entirely un-intentional. There is no-one/nothing directing it yet its outcome presents (and can be discussed as) a design.
