I have never understood how to interpret AQI in iOS. Confusingly, the UI will (edit: or at least used to?) say "Air Quality: Low" when what it means is that the pollution level is low (ie. air quality is high). Somewhat disappoint

I suspect I'm not the only one who tried this, but ChatGPT does predictably well at this task. I gave it a basic prompt of 'Let's play a game. The rule says, "No vehicles in the park". This is a game about language

Shit, I really hope it doesn't. Do you really want every silly thing you say be recorded, to come bite you in the ass decades down the line?

Totally agree with this. I don't even disagree with most of what they are saying, but it feels like it just became more about campaigning for what they had already decided was the truth rather than actually producing good journalism. T

Another German here, and I have to admit I would have actually translated "pathetisch" as "pathetic" as well. I guess my German vocabulary has suffered quite a bit over the years of living abroad.

I guess it depends on your use case. If you have a basic tool where most of the functionality lives in a single file and which you need to compare to previous versions frequently, I can see how just having incrementing file names could be u

I have my fair share of complaints about Apple Music, but I don't agree that this is in any way 'basic functionality'. I would expect that 99% of Apple Music users just want an easy way to stream music, not sync custom songs

But those trades were already shut down and not coming back anytime soon. If Germany had refused to join sanctions and was still using NS1 + NS2 at full capacity right now then maybe there would have been some motivation to force the issue.

Sabotaging their allies' key infrastructure would be an absolutely crazy amount of risk for the US. Even if they think there is a 99% chance they'd not get caught, that is a 1% chance of completely destroying relations their with
