Spending a week practicing leetcode puzzles is what's actually being tested, and that's actually not a bad metric for judging employability. It's a relatively trivial exercise to sit down and study. If you can't do that

As long as someone knows that they're going away from the industry good it's enough for a single defection.

So now that SSL certificates are being weaponized it now becomes a matter of national security for any country to have their own independent CA infra. Another win for the US.

For the customers? Yes. For engineers building tools that increase their quality of life? For sure. For removing legacy cruft? Absolutely.

Yes, if Alex from BizDev is a scheming moron who consistently lies about the priority of features, it’s hard to keep an LLM on the loop about it when transcribing meetings and feature requests. If your boss is gonna be unavailable for a mon

I see my org delivering twice as many features and implementing way more tools that actually solve problems. The issue is that doesn’t necessarily mean that customers will pay more, as most of the features of software are not actually core.

People who build good software with AI don't gloat about it being built with AI because it's not the most relevant part of it.

There's a ton of people out there in various unknown companies grinding away and managing a reasonable number of well-prompted, parallel agents with decent CI and deployment strategy making judicious use of human review. But that'

Given enough context for a business problem, sure. But LLMs are not in a condition to judge how you should pick the technical solution to a business problem with several stakeholders, risks, and so on.

This is wildly overblown. I've been working with agents for a good while, read tens of thousands of generated Python and the language factor is actually the part they get right that humans don't.

It's not an immediate end of humanity, it's the slowly eroding collapse of institutions. We're at 1.5 anyway so it's likely not the end, but the end is there and it's within a very likely scenario.
