We’re going in circles here.. where did I say most people have played MOBA?
693.
by Cyph0n 3y ago
Good to know, but based on numbers, most people would have been exposed to the term through MOBAs.

by Cyph0n 3y ago
Not for people who’ve never played MOBAs.

That’s why I’m of the opinion that CS is the best spectator esport out there. The rounds are short and the overall barrier to entry for a viewer to enjoy the game is low, yet the skill ceiling is extremely high. Edit: If you’re not familiar

> One nice thing in Google cloud is that you can create a vm and parametrize it with the docker container image and it will run it. No need to install anything. Never knew about this feature!

In Tunisian Arabic baby speak, “mama” means “mama” but “mam-ma” (see [1]) means food/eat. Quite confusing, but it seems to work? [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadda

Very scary stuff. Families will probably soon have to drive over the Atlantic.

by Cyph0n 3y ago
Well, unless you can afford to fly private, you’re just going to have to deal with the annoying babies. Because families need to get to places and the human race isn’t going to go extinct, at least not anytime soon. In the meantime, I’d rec

Did you also have access to free email (beyond a measly few MBs), maps, video hosting, and private data storage? Because that's what ad-tech enabled. Getting online wasn't the hard part. Not saying that ad-tech is purely good, of

EU legislators are experts at coming up with a bunch of good regulations but then cancelling it all out with a hefty dash of blanket, pro-surveillance legislation.

Not a Turkish speaker, but I believe it’s closer to tur-kee-yeh. It’s pronounced almost the same in Arabic.

Fun game! 38k on the first try, but I probably could have gone a bit higher had I placed the pins more accurately.

If the example is "cut CEO pay, and you might end up with a repeat of the Cambodian genocide", I'd rather have no example at all.

I am aware of the examples you were referring to. My point is that your examples are extreme given the context of the discussion. So far, the discussion has been focused solely on executive pay: nobody is talking about the proletariat teari

That’s quite an.. extreme example. Almost sounds like something you’d read on one of those Cold War era red scare posters.

Not entirely sure. But just to clarify, it isn’t purely a tech problem, but also a lower level banking infra problem. Two things to note: 1. Tunisian currency is tightly controlled by the central bank, which means it is very difficult to mo

The honest answer? I have no idea! But I can share what I do know and/or heard when I worked there. I have zero knowledge about NX-OS. But I can say that the XR and XE teams were quite isolated from one another. For instance, as an XR
