I’d assume any decent compiler would optimize a “% 2” (or any power of 2) into a bitwise op. Could be wrong though!

And it seems to be a play on one of the largest French newspapers, Le Figaro (think: WaPo of France).

This is exactly the goal behind NixOS the Linux distro (the worst part about Nix is the naming!). The distro itself and module authors give you high-level building blocks that allow you to configure the system declaratively (e.g., create us

Well, guess I wasn’t “most people”. Also, I only included the IATA code to show that the code matches the name and isn’t random/unrelated (like CYXU).

Interesting project! But I expected them to be using textfsm (or something similar) as a first step parser. textfsm is heavily used to parse CLI outputs in networking devices. https://github.com/google/textfsm

Are you responding to the right comment? I simply stated that Jellyfin is working on improving client support, but it's not there yet. And yes, some people prefer using Jellyfin and paying for Infuse over using Plex. Different strokes

My understanding is that the Jellyfin team is working hard on the clients story. But yes, right now, the story is a bit lacking. Note that there are third-party alternatives that can fill the gap such as Infuse on iOS/tvOS.

Same, but served via Jellyfin. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out Tubesync. It makes managing the downloading side a breeze. https://github.com/meeb/tubesync

1899 was the final straw for me too. It’s a miracle they even renewed “Love, Death & Robots”.

This to me is a perfect example of selling snake oil. The cherry on top is the TED talk-style mannerisms and thoughtful pauses. Makes it all seem a bit less snake oil-y.

You can run containers on NixOS (also through systemd) and get the same benefits explained in this article. NixOS supports both Podman and Docker as a runtime. There is also the option to run native NixOS containers. See: https://

No, just WiFi. Your HA server acts as a HomeKit bridge and exposes its entities to the iOS Home app.

I definitely have a small setup, but getting ZigBee running was fairly straightforward. Two steps: 1) buy a ConBee dongle and 2) install and setup Zigbee2MQTT. I’ve never dealt with Matter, though.
