Visually a very nice UI! From a feature point of view, is there a difference to existing open-source web automation tools like selenium ide or ui.vision?

Anyone knows more about this "Nanocrystals Technology Inc., New York" company from Ekimov? I did a quick google search but could not find anything.

The Lufthansa offer is no greenwashing via CO2 compensation. It is CO2 neutral fuel ("SAL"). This is the way to go. The downside is that it is a (currently) very expensive option. Then again, if I would be a movie star or the lik

That is exactly my guess. I have been in the lab, and I know how easy it is to see something because you desperately want to see it...

I am surprised that anyone still thinks this thing is legit. I mean, I wish it was true, but the publication, the approach and the infights in the team do not instill confidence. To me, it seems they can not recreate the "effect"

25 years is just what they guarantee, it probably lasts much longer. My solar roof (not Tesla, of course) is meanwhile 21 years old, and works almost like on day 1. Since I dont expect a sudden failure in 4 years, my guess it that it will l

Well, last time I had some hope for room temperature superconductors that was with doped fullerenes (C60 and friends). That was a truly novel approach.

For me, that is what I would call "just bake something together", the YBCO way. That said, I see now that I should have made this point clearer. See below for my comment with C60. That was a truly different approach (that failed).

Anonymous or not, the "MPI guy" explains why he came to this conclusion, and it sounds legit.

That is what I would call a slightly modified approach. They just "bake something together" and hope to get lucky. No way. Anyway, I am not an expert. I hope they have a win here, but hard to believe at this point.

To create such a dramatic increase in critical temperature, I would expect you need a dramatic change in chemistry (as in: formula, materials,...) as well.

My issue here is: This new material is essentially standard "high temperature" YBCO superconductor material just slightly modified, or? The authors are not doing anything dramatically new, like a new chemistry. How likely is it

Interesting that to my knowledge only US universities have this kind of "lets look at extra curriculars" admission system in the first place. In all/most other countries, it is high school grades or entrance exams only. Or -

I assume this guy has a decent income and is not desperate for money. Why would he sell anything for $100??? Time, effort, legal fees and whatnot are much higher than $100. Even if the company would be indeed worthless, I would not bother s

If the lab leak story is correct, the WIV people knew somewhere inbetween September...November 2019 that the virus leaked.

That is nonsense. Even highly qualified people like Alina Chan were pushed in the conspiracy camp during the first year - just for saying that the lab leak is one (of many) possible sources of the virus.

That.Is.It. Simple math. France will (have to) move to 64 and later to 67. If not this year, then in a few years. Any many EU countries might even have to move to 70, Germany for sure. People live longer (great), so they also have to work l

Many countries in the EU have 67 as retirement age - so 64 does not feel a big issue to me. (France and Malta are the only one with 62) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retirement_in_Europe
