I love CityMapper, I use it all the time. I just wish they fixed DLR times, as they are often completely off. One other feature I'd like to see is to prefer a bit of a walk to change tube lines, instead of redirecting me to a bus or ta

It usually is. But in my case it's not as it shows up when I arrive somewhere. I mean, if they know I'm at work why would they show me that card immediately after I get there. It's not like they don't know when I usually

Google Now is broken. I get to work, and there is a "time to home" card, and vice-versa. It also thinks that I would like to go to work in the middle of the night on a weekend. It keeps showing me directions to places I've ne

Internally we use it with Knockout/Presenter, but you could use any other framework. BRJS is "just" about organising things, build toolchain (to an extent) and it also provides some libraries like emitter, service/alias

BRJS isn't a JS framework as such. It's a development environment that helps you organise your code and generally makes the development of large (really large) JS apps easier for teams. Plus other goodies :) You can use whatever J

Fun fact. The founders of Outfit7 went from nothing to richest Slovenians in about two years! I always like to use them as an example when people from my home country say that the only way to get rich is by being a crock.

Does anyone know what banks, governments etc will do once XP doesn't have support anymore? I had a discussion with a coworker a couple of times now, and he said a big company can always just pay Microsoft money to support them onwards.

Just checked amazon.co.uk and it says "Usually dispatched within 13 to 14 days.", for the wifi only model. Huh? Does that mean they are selling them as hot cupcakes or what? And I don't understand how the old model is only 10

Surely this isn't what 4chan things of HN. But rather what HN thinks of itself. To come up with such a good parody you have to be really knowledgeable about the thing you are making fun off.

Same for me (ordered from the UK). I did receive an email though: "Thank you. You've made a purchase on Google Play. You will not be charged until your order has been shipped.". Did you get that?

I've just received a confirmation email for a 32GB B&W. Although it says that they'll actually take my money when it ships out to me, so I'm still holding my breath a bit :)

That's a roughly 4 hour commute in each direction: 1h flight, 1h train ride from airport to liverpool street + commute to the airport and waiting. And this are, in my experience, conservative numbers. So you spend 128 hours per month c
