I'm not that worried. My flat is heated by a gas heater, that is supplied by a tank somewhere outside. That thing only has to be filled up occasionally (idk how often, maybe once a year or so?), so i'm usually just paying for the

I actually grew up with esoterics due to my mom. The major problem is, that they don't accept facts that are verifiable by scientific means. They think everything is subjective and therefore everything you can think of is somehow true.

Idk about your country, but we don't teach children "fear god or burn in hell" or "what would Jesus do", we tend to teach young children not to be dicks to each other and not to do dumb stuff. Most of our children

> there is an almost patriotic attitude towards coal plants As a German, i'm wondering where you got that idea from... Because pretty much every poll i know of, is in support of turning off coal plants.

Depending on your requirements, you may be able to do it with a framework of your choice, a simple crawler and Elasticsearch. I'm basically doing just that for my little side project with Symfony + DomCrawler + Elastic. But i'm on

Not really. They may filter some stuff, if it is outright illegal and has caused enough outrage or someone complains about copyright. And if you have an account there, they'll try and give you results you most likely want to read. Whic

Google simply shows you what it thinks you want to see, as long as nobody (with money) complains. Yandex shows you what the Russian state wants you to see. And they aren't even subtle.

I like PHP for its simple deployment. Symfony has some interesting concepts with the adoption of Stimulus via their UX packages. But their ORM and Queue handlers are a bit annoying. Or maybe i'm just too dumb for that, because i'm

Can you clarify? They may be biased to the German point of view. Just like any other news agency in other countries. But other than that, they're as neutral as humans can be. Of course, Russia and Turkey aren't very fond of them.

I want to add DW (Deutsche Welle) and Reuters. They're considered neutral by normal people. Reporting is "matter of fact" style and if they give an opinion on anything, they will clearly mark it as "opinion" in the

Idk what the exact differences are. I only know, that newer buildings are already required to have proper insulation, so for those that are built or (properly) renovated in, idk maybe the last 20 years or so, should be fine. But we also hav

Yet another one, who thinks it's about electricity. We don't have much of a problem with that, since gas only makes up about 10% of the energy mix. About 75% of all households in Germany use gas and oil for heating. Your magic nuc
